Krafton announced on the 3rd that it will introduce new content collaborating with the girl group NewJeans in 'PUBG: Battlegrounds' and 'Battlegrounds Mobile.'
This collaboration was prepared to provide existing users with a fresh enjoyment and to expand connections with the MZ generation (Millennials + Generation Z). In the teaser video for 'Battlegrounds' released by Krafton last month, a supply crate featuring a rabbit character symbolizing NewJeans was shown falling from the sky, and a scene where rabbit ears were added to the helmet logo symbolizing Battlegrounds appeared, sparking curiosity.
The video additionally released on the 2nd depicted NewJeans members running toward somewhere within a pastel-toned 'Battlegrounds' game space, along with a bus, outdoor stage, airplane banners, and supply crates decorated with the NewJeans theme.
'Battlegrounds Mobile' started with the members entering the game one by one and ended with the phrase "Shall we go for chicken today as well?" in the teaser video, announcing the release of NewJeans Quick Voice.
The NewJeans collaboration content will be available on the Battlegrounds PC version from the 12th (console version from the 20th) and on Battlegrounds Mobile from the 18th.
