Theme Condensed as Golden Fields + Rice
Held at Icheon Agricultural Theme Park from October 16 to 20
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City unveiled the official poster for the regional representative festival, the 'Icheon Rice Culture Festival,' scheduled to be held in October, on the 3rd.
The poster uses the yellow color of the golden fields ripening in autumn as the background, encapsulating the theme through rice while minimizing illustrations. It also highlights key information such as date, time, and location to improve visibility.
The Secretariat of the Icheon Rice Culture Festival Promotion Committee stated, "The purpose is to clearly convey the necessary information through the poster," adding, "We focused on the nostalgic charm that the younger generation has not experienced."
Meanwhile, the Icheon Rice Culture Festival was selected as one of the 'Top 100 Regional Cultural Attractions' by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. First held in 1999, this year marks its 23rd edition. The festival will take place for five days from October 16 to 20 at the Icheon Agricultural Theme Park.
