Rain Forecast of 5~20mm in Jeolla Region and Gyeongnam Inland

On Monday the 3rd, there will be occasional clouds nationwide, with showers mainly in the Chungcheong region and southern areas.


According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 2nd, showers are expected in the Chungcheong region from daytime to evening on the 3rd, and in the southern regions and Jeju Island mountainous areas from daytime to late night.

Some areas in the southern regions will experience unstable atmospheric conditions, resulting in heavy rain or showers accompanied by strong winds, thunder, and lightning.


Expected precipitation amounts are 5-20mm in the Jeolla region and inland Gyeongnam, 5-10mm in Busan, Ulsan, southern coastal Gyeongnam, Daegu, and inland Gyeongbuk, and around 5mm in the Chungcheong region and Jeju Island mountainous areas.


Morning low temperatures are forecasted to be between 11 and 17 degrees Celsius, and daytime highs between 20 and 28 degrees Celsius.


Fine dust levels are expected to be 'Good' to 'Moderate' across all regions due to smooth atmospheric dispersion.


Sea waves will be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea coastal waters, and 0.5 meters in the West Sea coastal waters.


Wave heights in the offshore waters (about 200 km from the coastline) are predicted to be 0.5 to 1.5 meters in the East Sea and South Sea, and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West Sea.
