'The New Trend' Lee Ye-won has solidified her solo dominance.

Ye-won Lee 'Already 3 Wins This Season'... 'No Match for Her' Lee Ye-won is carefully reading the green at the 1st hole of the final 3rd round of the Sh Suhyup Bank MBN Women's Open.

On the 2nd, at The Star Hue Golf & Resort (Par 72, 6,689 yards) in Yangpyeong-gun, Gyeonggi-do, during the final 3rd round of the KLPGA Tour Sh Suhyup Bank MBN Women's Open (total prize money 1 billion KRW), she surged with an 8-under-par round to secure a 3-stroke victory (14-under-par 202 strokes). This marks her third win of the season and sixth career victory, just one month after the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship on the 12th of last month, with a winner's prize of 180 million KRW.

Starting from a two-stroke tie for 4th place, Lee Ye-won collected eight birdies without any bogeys. She made 'stepping stone birdies' on holes 1 and 3 and back-to-back birdies on holes 8 and 9 to reduce four strokes in the front nine. In the back nine, she added four more birdies on holes 11, 13, 14, and 15, distancing herself from her competitors' pursuit. She made par on the remaining three holes. She now leads in wins, prize money ranking (644,633,038 KRW), and MVP points (249 points).

Kim Min-seon 7 shot five under to finish tied for 2nd place (11-under-par 205 strokes), her best personal result since finishing 2nd at the Doosan We’ve Championship last August. Hwang Yu-min, the winner of the Doosan We’ve Championship in April, also performed well, tying for 2nd place. LPGA member Sung Yoo-jin and 'mom golfer' Park Joo-young tied for 4th place (10-under-par 206 strokes). Park Min-ji managed only a 3-under round, finishing 6th (8-under-par 208 strokes). Lee Dong-eun, who was the leader the previous day, lost one stroke and dropped to a tie for 7th place (7-under-par 209 strokes). Heo Da-bin, Park Bo-gyeom, Heo Da-bin, and Yoon Soo-ah tied for 7th, while Park Gyeol, Hong Jeong-min, and Lee Ga-young finished tied for 11th place (6-under-par 210 strokes).
