LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam Announces June Horse Racing Schedule

75 Bugeong Races Held in the 5th Week of June

Broadcasting 105 in Seoul and 70 in Jeju

Korea Racing Authority's LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam (headed by Um Youngseok) has announced its horse racing schedule for June 2024.


In June, a total of 75 races will be held over 10 days across 5 weeks at Busan-Gyeongnam. Every Friday, 8 races from Busan-Gyeongnam and 8 races from Jeju will be broadcast. On Saturdays, 11 races from Seoul and 6 races from Jeju will be broadcast. On Sundays, 10 races from Seoul and 7 races from Busan-Gyeongnam will take place. Of the 75 races held at Busan-Gyeongnam, 57 are for Korean-bred horses, 16 are mixed races for both Korean and foreign-bred horses, and 2 are designated stakes races.


The first Jeju race on Fridays starts at 11:00 AM, while the first Busan-Gyeongnam race starts at 11:50 AM. On Saturdays and Sundays, the first Seoul race starts at 10:35 AM. The final race on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays all begin at 6:00 PM.


The condition-based top horse selection series, which began last March, is now nearing its end. On June 2, the KNN Cup (G3, 1600m, Queens Tour S/S) and on June 30, the Owners' Cup (G3, 1600m, Premier) will be held at LetsRun Park Busan-Gyeongnam at 4:05 PM (Race 6). At LetsRun Park Seoul, the Gyeonggi Province Governor's Cup (G3, 2000m, Ripple Tiara) on June 9 and the Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Cup (G2, 2000m, Triple Crown) on June 16 will start at 4:30 PM (Race 8) and will be broadcast from Busan-Gyeongnam.
