Temporary General Meeting of Adore on the 31st, CEO Min Reappointed, Two Close Associates Dismissed
Three Directors Appointed as Inside Directors by HYBE
Hybe, having dismissed two existing directors and appointed three new inside directors at the Adoer extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, will see CEO Min Hee-jin, who retained her position as head of Adoer by court ruling, face the press again today (31st).
Min's side announced that "a press conference explaining the position regarding the extraordinary general meeting will be held" on this day.
The press conference will take place at 2:30 PM at the Korea Press Center in Jung-gu, Seoul. Min and representatives from the law firm Sejong, acting as legal counsel, are expected to attend the event.
Earlier this morning at the Adoer extraordinary general meeting, the proposal to appoint Kim Ju-young as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), Lee Jae-sang as Chief Strategy Officer (CSO), and Lee Kyung-joon as Chief Financial Officer (CFO), all recommended by Hybe, was approved. Consequently, Shin Mo, former vice president and close associate of Min, and Director Kim Mo, both inside directors of Adoer, were dismissed.
This press conference marks the second time Min publicly addresses the conflict with Hybe, approximately one month after the first press conference.
The previous press conference drew significant attention, with reactions ranging from highly positive to strongly negative, to the point of being described as groundbreaking.
After 36 days, all eyes are on what statements CEO Min will make at the press conference as she reappears before the media.
