E8 "Visits Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan"

EI8T announced on the 31st that on the 30th, Uzbekistan's Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies, Jamshid Egamberdiev, along with officials from the Uzbekistan Ministry of Digital Technologies and KOIIA (Korea Industrial Intelligence Association), visited EI8T headquarters.

EI8T is a domestic simulation-based digital twin solution company participating as a digital twin builder in the Sejong Smart City, a national pilot city project. The company is growing by securing high-quality references such as disaster simulation, building energy, and HVAC management digital twins. On this day, the Uzbekistan delegation experienced EI8T’s Level 3 simulation and digital twin technology. They also introduced Uzbekistan’s investment plans and the IT PARK, an international digital technology center.

Currently, Uzbekistan is actively pursuing various new businesses to achieve its 2030 economic development goals. The Uzbekistan government has shown strong commitment to large-scale projects including highways and high-speed railways, water resources, nuclear power plants, renewable energy complexes, and housing construction. The delegation expressed interest in the construction of the Tashkent smart city, the capital of Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan plans to officially launch digital twin and smart city-related projects starting in September. Approximately 25,000 talents are being trained, and digital business models are being concretized. The officials from the Ministry of Digital Technologies who attended the meeting admired EI8T’s advanced digital twin technology. EI8T introduced its accumulated digital twin references and proposed a business model to play a central role in Uzbekistan’s national project for 2030 economic development.

An EI8T official stated, “Uzbekistan is showing active willingness to cooperate with overseas technology companies, and we believe our technology can be applied to smart cities, factories, and building management digital twins,” adding, “It is very encouraging that we were chosen among domestic digital twin companies for this visit, and we will actively expand into Central Asia with Uzbekistan as our base.”
