Lim Tae-hee, Superintendent of Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education, emphasized, "We will create a new public education system that has never been seen before through change, opportunity, and challenge."
On the 30th, Superintendent Lim attended the '2024 First Half Principals and Vice Principals District Supervision Council Workshop' held at the Southern Office of the Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education in Suwon, stating, "There have been several moments of change throughout history, and education must also be different from the past," and promised, "Gyeonggi education will create a new public education system centered on change, opportunity, and challenge that has never been seen before."
He continued, "We will firmly establish the Gyeonggi Shared School and Online School systems so that schools can focus on the essence of education," and urged, "Principals, please join us in not fearing change but creating opportunities to take on new challenges."
The workshop was attended by about 170 district representative principals from 14 southern education support offices, sharing the vision and direction of Gyeonggi future education. The main discussion topics included ▲ Vision and direction of Gyeonggi future education shared with the Superintendent ▲ 2024 Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education policy briefing ▲ District supervision representatives' thematic presentations, among others.
