Law firm Dae-ryun LLC has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for legal advisory services with the Creative International Beauty Association.

The MOU signing ceremony for business cooperation was held on the 29th at Dae-ryun's Yeouido headquarters, attended by Dae-ryun representatives Byungjun Ko and Gukil Kim, and Creative International Beauty Association Chairperson Mijeong Park and Director Eunjeong Han, among others.

The Creative International Beauty Association is an organization established to promote the development of the beauty sector, including fashion, makeup, and styling, and is leading the K-Beauty industry.

Through this agreement, both organizations will mutually cooperate on ▲joint projects for the development and expansion of the K-Beauty field ▲response to association-related disputes ▲legal review required for advertising and promotion ▲legal consultation to revitalize the beauty sector ▲seminars and training for joint projects.

Mijeong Park, Chairperson of the Creative International Beauty Association, stated, “Our association is accelerating artistic and academic research to expand the K-Beauty industry. We are striving to achieve the advancement of beauty content through strengthening global networking in the beauty industry, including hair design, makeup art, and nails.” She added, “We expect that this agreement will provide legal protection such as safeguarding workers' rights and technology.”

Byungjun Ko, CEO of Dae-ryun, said, “Intangible assets like beauty technology hold value comparable to tangible assets,” and added, “We plan to respond promptly to disputes related to trademark rights, patent rights, and other protections in the beauty sector.”

He continued, “We will fully prepare to handle cases and provide legal advice by mobilizing experts from various fields, including intellectual property lawyers at Dae-ryun.”

Dae-ryun, a law firm with the largest number of branches in Korea with 38 offices nationwide, provides specialized legal services by forming specialized groups in each field. Recently relocated to Yeouido, Dae-ryun has expanded and reorganized its corporate legal group and has signed MOUs with numerous companies.
