[Breaking News] Constitutional Court Rules "Separate Collection of KBS License Fee and Electricity Charges is Constitutional"

The Constitutional Court ruled that the Enforcement Decree of the Broadcasting Act, which stipulates that the Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) license fee be collected separately from the electricity bill, does not violate the Constitution.

On the 30th, the Constitutional Court dismissed KBS's petition requesting the cancellation of the public notice for the legislative proposal of the Enforcement Decree of the Broadcasting Act concerning the 'separate collection of license fees.'
