A man in his 30s arrested for assaulting a concertgoer at Chosun University festival

On the 30th, the Dongbu Police Station in Gwangju announced that they have booked and are investigating a man in his 30s, identified as A, on charges of assault for hitting a concert attendee.

A is accused of throwing a punch at a man in his 50s, identified as B, around 11 p.m. on the 29th at the Daedongje Festival held at Chosun University in Dong-gu, Gwangju.

According to the investigation, A was intoxicated and causing a disturbance among nearby concertgoers when he got into an altercation with B and committed the assault.

The police are conducting a thorough investigation into the exact circumstances of the incident with A.
