Uljin County and Park Hyungsoo, National Assembly Member, Discuss Strategies for Securing National Funding

'2025 National Budget Policy Consultation' Held

Uljin County in North Gyeongsang Province held the "2025 National Budget Policy Consultation" on the 29th at the county office's main conference room with Park Hyungsoo, a National Assembly member from the People Power Party, to secure national funding for 2025.

Uljin County discussed measures to secure national funding with Congressman Hyungsoo Park.

The meeting was attended by Uljin County Governor Son Byungbok, National Assembly member Park Hyungsoo, Provincial Assembly member Kim Jaejun, county council members, and about 40 officials including department heads.

For 2025, Uljin County shared information on various projects such as the establishment of the Uljin Nuclear Hydrogen National Industrial Complex, the creation of Uljin Hydrogen City, the Liquid Hydrogen Receiving Terminal project, the construction of the Yeongdeok?Samcheok Expressway (North-South Axis 10), the expansion of National Road No. 36 to four lanes, the comprehensive improvement of the Jukbyeon District flood and disaster risk area, and the improvement of the Geoil Port natural disaster risk reconstruction zone. They agreed that from the budget review stage by government ministries, the National Assembly and local governments will actively cooperate and respond together.

Governor Son Byungbok said, "I hope for continued interest and support so that our core projects can proceed without interruption in the long term."

National Assembly member Park Hyungsoo said, "I will do my best to support Uljin County's national projects so that key initiatives for regional development can proceed smoothly through a strengthened cooperative communication system."
