Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province announced that the corn poppies in the Juwangsan Tourist Complex, located in Haeui-ri, Juwangsan-myeon, have started to bloom and are expected to reach full bloom around June 4.
The county has created a 16,000-square-meter (4,900 pyeong) ornamental corn poppy garden in the Juwangsan Tourist Complex, providing a healing space for local residents and tourists visiting Cheongsong County.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee said, "I hope this will become a famous spot in Cheongsong, along with the Oxygen Cafe Cheongsong Garden, attracting many visitors," and added, "I hope you visit Cheongsong with your family and friends to make unforgettable memories."
Cheongsong County also announced that the "2024 1st Cheongsong Baekja Festival" will be held for three days from May 31 to June 2 at the Cheongsong Baekja Pottery Village, located next to the Juwangsan Tourist Complex, and that Cheongsong Baekja porcelain will be available at up to a 40% discount (excluding some items) during the festival period.
