KPC Korea Productivity Center announced on the 30th that it is recruiting trainees for the '2024 Global K-Content Export Marketer Training' program. The Global K-Content Export Marketer Training program has been operated by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency since 2022 to foster professionals equipped not only with practical skills in content export and marketing but also with an understanding of the global content industry and market expertise for the continuous growth and overseas expansion of K-Content. KPC is the project operating organization.
This training course will be conducted for about five months from June 18 to the end of November. It targets around 100 people, including 70 new personnel aspiring to enter or start a business in the content export and marketing field, and 30 current industry professionals.
The regular curriculum consists of ▲basic education based on content export and marketing theory and practice, ▲advanced education analyzing overseas content industry trends and planning new business models, ▲and foreign language education linked to the curriculum, such as writing English marketing materials and reviewing contracts.
Special training courses include ▲on-site training at domestic content B2B trade shows, ▲overseas study tours to explore major content markets and companies, ▲internship programs, ▲expert mentoring, and ▲networking programs for industry professionals.
Especially in this year’s curriculum, ▲practical training on export and marketing processes by content sector, ▲marketing practice using generative AI, and IP-based marketing planning programs have been added to cultivate content export and marketing experts.
Park Sung-jin, team leader of the KPC Public Policy Center, said, "This training program is a great opportunity to grow into a global export marketer equipped comprehensively with administrative practical skills, industry understanding, and market expertise," adding, "We hope many will participate in this training course that fosters talent to lead the overseas market expansion of K-Content."
