Cambridge Members Present Trouser Collection 'Trouser Market'

Body Shape, Material, and Fit: Proposing 'Personal Pants'

Kolon Industries FnC Division announced on the 30th that its menswear brand Cambridge Members will strengthen its pants collection. The strategy is to diversify pants products to secure loyal customers.


First, Cambridge will introduce the 'Trouser Market' by applying its 47 years of accumulated suit-making technology and MTM (Made to Measure) know-how to casual pants items. All pants products, except suit pants, are expressed using the word 'trouser,' which is mainly used in the UK.


The Trouser Market offers a total of 35 types, including chino pants, denim pants, and slacks. This is a 30% increase compared to the spring/summer season last year. For denim pants, fabrics using linen and Coolmax yarns were planned to be comfortable to wear even in the spring and summer seasons.

The strength of the Trouser Market pants lies in the high-quality internal finishing. Classic suit pants manufacturing techniques are applied to parts not visible from the outside, such as the inside of the waist, fastening parts, and lining, to enhance quality.


The fit has also been diversified considering body shapes. Reflecting customer preferences, the pants are composed of three fits: ▲‘Slim,’ which fits closely to the legs overall, providing stability ▲‘Regular,’ a basic silhouette that suits everyone ▲‘Comfort,’ characterized by a relaxed fit from the hips to the hem for comfortable wear.


Lee Sang-woo, Cambridge brand manager, said, “Through the Trouser Market, Cambridge will propose personal pants that satisfy the individual needs of each customer.”
