'2024 Anti-Corruption and Integrity Training for Public Officials' Held
On the 28th, Cheongsong County in North Gyeongsang Province held an anti-corruption and integrity training session for all employees at the Cheongsong Culture and Arts Center Grand Auditorium.
The training featured Jeong Heejeong, director of the Tomato Education Research Institute, as the invited lecturer. Under the theme "Cheongsong County Making Greater Efforts to Eradicate Corruption and Promote Integrity," the session focused on the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.
In particular, the training centered on real-life cases that public officials may encounter in the course of their duties and enhanced employees' understanding of the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, which outlines standards such as the prohibition of power abuse and the ban on private labor requests.
County Governor Yoon Kyunghee stated, "To protect the rights and interests of our residents, it is essential to foster a culture of integrity within the organization," and added, "Through this anti-corruption and integrity training, we will spread a culture of integrity and build a Cheongsong County that earns the trust of its residents."
