Sharing Love Through Kimchi: Onjeong-myeon Community Security Council in Uljin Holds Side Dish Sharing Volunteer Event

The Onjeong-myeon Community Social Security Council in Uljin-gun, North Gyeongsang Province (co-chaired by Son Seungwoo and Choi Yunhong) carried out the "Heartfelt Kimchi Side Dish Sharing Project" for vulnerable groups on the 28th.

This project, supported by the Hanul Nuclear Power Headquarters, delivers side dishes and checks in on the well-being of elderly people living alone who have difficulty preparing meals themselves, on a monthly basis.

Focusing on council members, various organization members visit the homes of elderly residents. This month, they prepared and delivered four types of side dishes, including Korean pork galbijjim and Nabakmul kimchi, while checking on the recipients' health and well-being.

Son Seungwoo, the civilian co-chair, said, "I am grateful that many members are participating in this volunteer work together, and it is a great strength to have the Community Social Security Council take the lead."

Choi Yunhong, head of Onjeong-myeon, said, "I am thankful that heartfelt side dishes were gifted to elderly people living alone during Family Month in May."
