Icheon-si Holds Groundbreaking Ceremony for Nambu Health Living Support Center

Expansion of Existing Dementia Safety Center... Completion Scheduled for January Next Year

On the 28th, Icheon City in Gyeonggi Province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Nambu Health Living Support Center in Janghowon-eup, attended by about 100 people including heads of local institutions, social organizations, and citizens.

The Nambu Health Living Support Center will be constructed by expanding the existing Dementia Safety Center located at 371-1 Janghowon-ri, Janghowon-eup. It will be built on a 2,960㎡ site with a total floor area of 769㎡ and two above-ground floors. The total project cost is 2.9 billion KRW, with completion targeted for January next year.


The Nambu Health Living Support Center will be equipped with various facilities to provide health promotion services to local residents, including a health measurement room, counseling room, exercise guidance room, nutrition practice room, and mental health project office.


Kim Kyung-hee, mayor of Icheon, stated, "We will do our best to ensure that the newly established center faithfully serves as a hub for public health and medical projects in the southern region."
