Two Middle-Aged Men Sustain Serious Injuries
Transported to Hospital, Undergo Surgery and Receive Treatment
A street brawl broke out in Songdo International City, Incheon. During the incident, four men and women wielded weapons, causing serious injuries to two middle-aged men.
On the 29th, Yonhap News reported that the Yeonsu Police Station in Incheon had urgently arrested a man in his 40s, identified as Mr. A, on charges including attempted murder and is currently investigating. The police also apprehended three other men and women in their 20s and 30s, including Mr. B, on the same charges and are investigating them as well.
Mr. A is accused of stabbing Mr. C, a man in his 40s whom he knew, with a weapon on a street in Songdo International City, Yeonsu-gu, Incheon, around 10:20 PM on the 26th, attempting to kill him. Three others, including Mr. B, an acquaintance of Mr. A, also participated in the crime, and they assaulted Mr. C and a man in his 50s, a colleague of Mr. C, causing injuries.
According to the police investigation, Mr. A prepared the weapon in advance and went with his associates to the building where the victim’s office is located. The police believe that four people from Mr. A’s group and two from Mr. C’s group engaged in a group brawl. Additionally, it is presumed that Mr. A had a financial transaction with one of the victims, and the police plan to conduct further investigations to determine the specific motive behind the crime.
Mr. C, who was injured, was transported to a hospital and is receiving treatment after surgery. It has been reported that neither the suspects nor the victims are affiliated with any violent organizations.
