Joint Safety Inspection on May 31, Safety Management of Event Crowd through Task Force on the Day of the Event
Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) will conduct a safety inspection for the 'Drone Light Show' held at 8 p.m. on June 1 at Ttukseom Hangang Park.
On the 28th, related organizations including the district office, Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gwangjin Police Station, and Gwangjin Fire Station gathered to discuss safety management measures.
At the meeting, since the Seoul International Garden Expo, the Slow and Easy Hangang 3-Event Festival, and the Drone Light Show will be held simultaneously, attracting a large crowd, ensuring safety management and establishing a preemptive response system were prioritized as the top tasks for citizen safety.
On the day before the event, May 31, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, Gwangjin-gu, and related organizations will conduct a joint safety inspection to check the deployment of safety personnel, securing entry and exit routes, thorough movement management, and will monitor the implementation of corrective actions for any pointed-out issues as well as overall facility safety management.
On the day of the event, a task force for crowd safety management will be organized to make every effort to ensure the event concludes safely.
Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “We will make thorough preparations with related organizations to prevent any safety accidents,” and added, “We ask citizens to watch the event in an orderly manner so that it can be a happy festival everyone can enjoy together.”
