Universities, Government, and Local Authorities Support... 6,000-Won Meal Offered for 1,000 Won
KB Kookmin Bank delivered a sponsorship fund of 40 million KRW to Dong-Eui University on the 24th to support the "1,000 Won Breakfast" program.
On the 24th, KB Kookmin Bank donated 40 million won in sponsorship funds to Dong-Eui University to support the "Thousand Won Breakfast" program.
The donation ceremony, held at the president's office of Dong-Eui University, was attended by Han Suhwan, President of Dong-Eui University, Lee Imgeon, Vice President for External Affairs, Kim Chiyong, Director of External Cooperation, as well as Lee Hyuk, Head of the Busan-Ulsan-Gyeongnam Regional Group of KB Kookmin Bank, Joo Jongyeol, Head of the Central Busan Regional Headquarters, and Shin Heeyong, Branch Manager of the Busan City Hall branch.
The "1,000 Won Breakfast" program is a project supported by universities, the government, and local governments to provide breakfast for 1,000 KRW to university students with a high rate of skipping breakfast. Dong-Eui University has been participating in this project since last year.
In particular, this year Dong-Eui University increased its financial support to offer high-quality meals worth about 6,000 KRW per person for just 1,000 KRW.
President Han Suhwan stated, "With the support of KB Kookmin Bank, we will be able to provide nutritious breakfasts to even more students."
