The Aesin Child Welfare Center is a childcare facility established in 1953. It houses 32 children and adolescents aged 6 to under 18 who have been admitted due to reasons such as broken families. IBK Investment & Securities supported the creation of a futsal field within the welfare center to help the emotional and physical development of these children.
The futsal field at the Aesin Child Welfare Center, covering an area of 52 pyeong, was created by demolishing the old facilities and installing artificial turf and high safety fences, allowing the children to play more safely and freely.
Seo Jeong-hak, CEO of IBK Investment & Securities, said, "We will continue to take an interest and provide support so that children and adolescents, who are the hope of the future, can grow up healthy and happy. We will also do our best to help marginalized groups throughout society through various social contribution activities."
The IBK Investment & Securities Sharing Volunteer Group plans to hold a badminton tournament at the badminton court created last year at the Seongae-won child welfare facility in the second half of this year.
In addition, they plan to promote various social contribution activities encompassing all social classes, including ▲support for employment of young people with developmental disabilities ▲sponsorship of concerts for visually impaired musicians ▲economic classes for elementary school students ▲support for young people preparing for independence.
