The integrated product evaluation fair supports enhancing sales channel competitiveness through entry into distribution channels. In the offline sector, five major department stores (Galleria, Lotte, Shinsegae, Hyundai, AK) and E-Mart participated, while in the online sector, LotteON and Coupang took part in the evaluation fair. They conducted screenings to select companies participating in the small and medium business sales channel support project.
On the day of the evaluation fair, 60 companies that passed the document screening (28 food, 19 daily necessities, 7 health & beauty, 6 fashion accessories) participated and underwent face-to-face evaluations by distribution channel. Companies finally selected through entry consultations and other processes will receive benefits such as preferential commission rates when entering online and offline distribution companies, participation in pop-up events, and marketing support.
Choo Moon-gap, Head of the Economic Policy Division at Kbiz, said, “Entry into major distribution companies is a great opportunity for small and medium enterprises to promote their products and expand their business,” adding, “We expect this evaluation fair, which provides entry opportunities, to help expand sales channels and business growth for small and medium merchants.”
