The city explained that as more citizens use the Eosing-gil paths, it has paved the ground and installed foot-washing stations equipped with drainage facilities and rest areas so people can wash their feet and relax after walking barefoot. The city also plans to install shoe lockers separately as needed.

Eosing-gil refers to paths designed for comfortable barefoot walking to gain the healing effect of Earthing (grounding), a method of absorbing energy from the earth's surface through the body.

This year in the second half, the city plans to newly create Eosing-gil paths at Mangol Neighborhood Park (San 14, Singal-dong), Dongjinwon 2 Neighborhood Park (1096-1, Jung-dong), Sanggal Neighborhood Park (496, Sanggal-dong), and Yongin Central Park (San 37-16, Gimnyangjang-dong).

A city official said, "We will expand the Eosing-gil paths so that more citizens can feel the relaxation that nature provides nearby and benefit their health management."
