Smiles All Around for Athletes and Families... Wolseong Headquarters Successfully Hosts the Gyeongju Baramui Hill National Hill Climb Competition More than 600 athletes from all over the country are vigorously pedaling through the clear air and green forests.

This event, now in its second year following last year's inaugural competition, was organized by the Gyeongju Cycling Federation and sponsored by the Wolseong Headquarters.

The event was filled with excitement as over 600 athletes participated, cheered on by their families who had traveled from afar to support them.

The competition featured a total of 30 categories: 15 for cycling and 15 for MTB. The course included a parade of approximately 16 km round trip from the KHNP headquarters to Girimsa, followed by a 7 km hill climb up to the wind power plant parking lot.

With the backdrop of Tohamsan, surrounded by fresh air and lush forests, the athletes enjoyed an energetic ride as they took part in the competition.

On the day of the event, Wolseong Headquarters hosted various activities for the athletes and their families, including the 'On-the-Go Won-Ba-Kwi', 'SNS Event', and a 'Free Beverage Food Truck Event'.

In particular, the promotional booth featuring a nuclear energy quiz and a roulette game with prizes was especially popular with many participants before and after the competition.

Kim Hanseong, Head of Wolseong Headquarters, stated, "Bicycles are an eco-friendly means of transportation powered by our own legs, promoting both health and environmental awareness. We ask for your continued support for nuclear energy so that we can continue to sponsor this competition for the next 20 or 30 years."
