On the 26th, Maeil Business Newspaper reported that a Korean woman caused a nuisance on a flight heading to Incheon Airport, South Korea, departing from Turkey on the 21st. Passenger A, who was on the flight, explained, "I was returning to Incheon via Turkey from Azerbaijan on a business trip. However, a Korean woman sitting in the seat behind me stretched her bare feet over to our seat."

In the photo shared by A, a woman can be seen putting her bare feet through the gap between the airplane seats. Her feet were stretched out excessively, enough to feel them crossing over even while just sitting. A claimed, "I complained to the flight attendants about this behavior, but it was repeated. Only after I started recording a video did she hurriedly pull her feet back." He added, "It seems that such inconsiderate behavior has been occurring more frequently on airplanes these days."

A similar incident sparked controversy on the 19th. Passenger B, who boarded a flight to Jeju Island, shared, "A woman estimated to be in her 30s or 40s was in that posture even before the plane took off," along with a photo. The photo shows a woman stretching both legs over the seat in front. B said, "Flight attendants would flinch every time they passed by but didn’t say anything to her. I think they just gave a look as if it would only cause trouble if they intervened."

Meanwhile, under the current Aviation Security Act, anyone causing harm such as verbal abuse or loud disturbances during flight can face up to three years in prison or a fine of up to 30 million KRW. Passengers who do not comply with the legitimate instructions of the captain or flight attendants may face up to ten years in prison or a fine of up to 100 million KRW.
