Lee Soon-hee, Mayor of Gangbuk-gu, Seoul, attended the 'Uicheon Riverside Festa 2024, Wise Uicheon Life' held at Uicheon from the 24th to the 26th, communicating with residents.
At the opening ceremony on the 24th, Mayor Lee stated, "Uicheon is a representative tourist resource of Gangbuk-gu, enjoyed not only by residents but also by many tourists," and added, "We will continue to beautify Uicheon and make it a vibrant space where people can experience culture and arts."
On the 25th, she visited the festival site, including performance venues and experience booths, engaged in conversations with visitors, local artists, merchants, and other festival participants, and encouraged the staff operating the event.
The 'Uicheon Riverside Festa 2024, Wise Uicheon Life,' held for the second time this year, operated various performances, experiential programs with retro sensibility, and photo zones during the three-day festival period, receiving great response from many citizens.
