'Dodamso' First Public Opening to Residents, Kim Dong-yeon: "Let's Create a Community Living Together"

'Dodamso' First Public Opening to Residents, Kim Dong-yeon: "Let's Create a Community Living Together" Gyeonggi Province Governor Kim Dong-yeon is taking a commemorative photo with residents who visited Dodamso on the 25th.

Kim Dong-yeon, Governor of Gyeonggi Province, spent time communicating with residents who visited 'Dodamso' (the former governor's residence).

Gyeonggi Province announced that it held the first-ever 'Dodamso Open House Event' on the 25th this year, offering a variety of attractions and activities. The event runs until the 26th and features various programs including ▲Dodamso Exhibition Hall ▲Cultural Performances ▲Independent Film Screenings ▲Auxiliary Experiences.

This is the first time Dodamso has opened its doors for a set period to welcome all residents, not just those invited to specific events.

Governor Kim Dong-yeon attended the event and said, "When holding events at Dodamso, the principle is to invite artists with disabilities to perform or exhibit their artwork." He added, "There are many people around us who are struggling, suffering, and in pain. If we just reach out warmly and show some interest, I believe Gyeonggi Province can become a world where people truly live together."

He continued, "Without living together, sustainable growth has become impossible in this era," and said, "I hope Gyeonggi Province can grow both qualitatively and quantitatively together, so that residents can build a community where people trust each other and live together in a world where people truly live."

On the same day, Governor Kim acted as a 'one-day guide' for residents visiting Dodamso and introduced an international exchange event.
