Are There Any Inconveniences Like Employee Care or Trash from LG Electronics and Others That Revived Magok District?

Jin Gyo-hoon, the mayor of Gangseo District Office in Seoul, is attracting attention with his 'on-site communication administration.'

He is expanding meetings with residents by consecutively meeting local high school students, youth, and middle-aged groups.

On the 24th, Mayor Jin visited LG Science Park, located in the Magok district, to spend time communicating with employees.

The meeting was held with 19 employees from LG Group affiliates including LG Electronics, LG Display, LG Chem, and LG Uplus.

No specific topics were set to hear various voices without filtering. The meeting lasted over an hour with questions and answers exchanged between Mayor Jin and the attendees.

They discussed various topics such as the installation of crosswalk shade shelters, waste disposal issues, and expansion of care facilities.

In response to employees' questions, Mayor Jin said, “We will prioritize installing shade shelters in necessary locations through on-site inspections and understanding pedestrian traffic. Regarding waste disposal issues, we will ensure proper disposal through promotion of correct methods and resolve problems through administrative guidance if necessary.”

Regarding the expansion of facilities due to care gaps, he replied, “We are promoting care policies by considering what is most needed from the parents' perspective. We will gradually expand care facilities such as Our Neighborhood Care Centers and communal childcare rooms.”

The district office is conducting 'Generation Empathy Talk Lunch Meetings,' where the mayor visits sites to listen more closely to residents' vivid voices. This meeting is the third following visits to Seoul Aviation Business High School and Gangseo University.

Mayor Jin Gyo-hoon said, “I came out to the field to hear vivid voices from various age groups. I will listen carefully to even small inconveniences and implement policies that residents can feel.”
