The Yeongdeok County Education Development Committee held an educational seminar at 6:30 PM on the 23rd at the Yeongdeok County Community Center, inviting Lee Haewoong, director of Time Education Entrance Exam Research Institute, an admissions expert.
Approximately 150 students and parents attended the event. The first session featured a lecture titled "Getting into Medical School from Yeongdeok" for elementary and middle school students, while the second session, "Getting into Prestigious Universities from Yeongdeok," targeted high school students.
The committee provided detailed guidance on the changing college admissions system, including the confirmed increase in medical school admissions for next year and the higher ratio of local talent selection at Daegu and Gyeongbuk regional medical schools. The event also offered specific directions for effective academic planning, admission strategies, and grade management, which received a positive response from both students and parents.
Kim Kwangyeol (County Governor), chairman of the Yeongdeok County Education Development Committee, stated, "I hope this seminar helps local students and parents fully understand and prepare for the high school admission system. We are also offering ongoing 1:1 consulting to help each student accurately prepare for their career and college admissions, so we encourage active participation."
