Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam held the '2024 First Half Carbon Neutrality Promotion Committee' meeting, attended by around 20 carbon neutrality officers from each facility.

At the meeting held on the 23rd, presided over by Lee Kyungyun, Head of the Management Division (Chairman of the Carbon Neutrality Promotion Committee), the corporation shared its 2024 carbon neutrality and greenhouse gas reduction plans and approved the evaluation plan for outstanding departments in carbon neutrality.

In particular, during the meeting, it was decided to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from electricity, city gas, LPG, and water and sewage by 5% each compared to last year, in accordance with the corporation's own greenhouse gas target management system.

Lee emphasized, "I urge everyone to actively implement the matters discussed at this committee and make various efforts for carbon neutrality."

Meanwhile, last October, the corporation held the '2030 Carbon Neutrality Corporation Proclamation Ceremony' for sustainable growth, announcing its plan to convert all energy systems to a low-carbon structure and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to 2022.
