The "Environment Love Children's Baduk Festival" is sponsored by Cheongho Nice and hosted and organized by the Korea Baduk Association. Any elementary school or kindergarten children nationwide who love Baduk can participate. Applications can be submitted through the Korea Baduk Association website by accessing the Baduk Plaza page and applying for the tournament. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for each category. Participation is free, and all children who participate will receive gifts.

To raise awareness about environmental protection among participating children, the festival also includes environment-friendly experience programs. Programs such as making Earth Love soap and eco-bags are organized, and to discourage the use of disposable products, an event is held where slushies and coffee are provided free of charge to those who bring tumblers or personal cups. Additionally, various attractions such as a signing event with 9-dan Lee Chang-ho and food trucks will be available.

A Cheongho Nice official said, "We have prepared various programs so that young Baduk talents nationwide can showcase their skills freely and share the precious meaning of loving the environment together." He added, "Moreover, the Cheongho Talent Development Center, where the Baduk festival is held, is located in a pleasant natural environment, and we hope children who need rest after the tournament can fully enjoy their leisure time."
