'Mobis Mobility Day' Held in Silicon Valley, USA
Over 250 Investors and Startups Attend
Hyundai Mobis held an investment briefing in Silicon Valley, USA, targeting startups, academia, and investors. The strategy is to identify collaboration partners with future mobility innovation technologies in advance and strengthen competitiveness early on.
Hyundai Mobis announced on the 26th that it hosted the '3rd Mobis Mobility Day' event organized by Mobis Ventures Silicon Valley (MVSV). Approximately 250 people attended the event, including pre-invited Silicon Valley startup representatives, academia, industry investors, and local investment managers from overseas automakers.
The theme of this event was 'Green Mobility.' Hyundai Mobis introduced its chassis technology competitiveness optimized for electrified vehicle platforms, such as braking, steering, and suspension, and emphasized its core electrification component portfolio, including battery systems and powertrain (PE) systems.
Investors attending the event also predicted that the era of eco-friendly vehicles such as electric cars is a 'foreseen future,' and that investments in sustainability and clean technology innovation in the automotive industry will continue.
Kim Young-bin, Head of Planning at Hyundai Mobis, said, "The mobility industry is undergoing faster innovation and change than ever before. In line with these changes, we will continue to strengthen networking with local startups and investors centered on global open innovation hubs and take the lead in developing innovative technologies."
