On the 24th, the Nowon Police Station in Seoul announced that they had sent 26 people, including Park (21), to the prosecution without detention on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act (joint dangerous acts).

According to the police, 18 of them are accused of gathering at Jangam Station in Uijeongbu and Yeouido Hangang Park from 11:32 PM on the 13th of last month until 12:47 AM the next day, then driving in a group of about 10 cars on urban roads such as Gangbyeonbuk-ro, Dongbu Expressway, and Jayu-ro, racing at speeds of approximately 150 to 200 km/h while speeding and making sudden lane changes. The other 8 are accused of racing on the same route and time frame on the 5th of last month.

Except for two women in their 30s, most of them are men in their early 20s, consisting of university students majoring in automotive-related fields, students preparing for college entrance exams, office workers, and people with various occupations, according to the police. It is known that they met through messenger apps.

Most of the vehicles they used were luxury foreign cars, although some domestic cars were also involved, the investigation revealed.
