At Tongmyong University (President: Jeon Ho-hwan), a concrete and practical lecture on the topic of 'sexual violence' was held.
Tongmyong University announced on the 24th that it had hosted the 5th special session of its traveling violence prevention education series on the 23rd, inviting Hong Uiseop, a professional instructor from the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, under the theme "Someone's Sigh."
On this day, Instructor Hong communicated with participating students by sharing specific cases related to safe ways to start and end relationships, gender stereotypes and sexual violence, and dating violence. The students took time to pledge to create a safe, violence-free campus.
Lee Namyeon, head of the Human Rights Center at Tongmyong University, said, "It is essential to provide students with systematic education to prevent dating violence."
