Kyungnam University to Hold 'Career and Employment Job Festival' on the 28th

Job Fair Held for Students and Local Young Job Seekers

Kyungnam University will hold the "2024 Career and Employment Job Festival for Youth Advancement in Gyeongnam" on the 28th at 10:30 a.m. at the Changjogwan building.

This event, organized by the Kyungnam University Career Plus Center, is designed to provide a variety of employment information to students as well as local young job seekers. It will feature various interactive sessions such as special lectures by participating companies, recruitment briefings, and career and employment mentoring.

The festival will begin with a special lecture on "2024 Public Enterprise Recruitment Trends and Employment Strategies," followed by a mentor lecture from KAI Korea Aerospace Industries, and recruitment briefings from SK Oceanplant, POSCO, and Changwon Hanmaeum Hospital.

In addition, in the lobby on the first floor of Changjogwan, current executives and employees from companies such as LG Electronics, Hyundai Rotem, Hyosung Heavy Industries, SK Oceanplant, Korea SMEs and Startups Agency, Shinheung Global, and Chong Kun Dang will participate in career and employment mentoring, offering job consultations and employment strategies.

Furthermore, various programs will be operated to enhance employment capabilities, including booths run by the Ministry of Employment and Labor, the Career Plus Center, IPP-type Work-Study Program, National Employment Support System, Image Consulting Center, and Event Center.

Park Taehyun, Director of Talent Development, said, "I hope this Job Festival will serve as an opportunity for young people in the Gyeongnam region to take a leap into society," adding, "In particular, we expect that the employment mismatch in the Gyeongnam area will be alleviated in the future."
