US Unemployment Claims at 215,000... Down 8,000 from Previous Week

The U.S. Department of Labor announced on the 23rd (local time) that the number of new unemployment claims in the United States last week was 215,000.

This is below the market forecast of 220,000 claims. It decreased by 8,000 claims compared to the previous figure of 223,000 claims.
