Pukyong National University, 13 Recipients of Presidential and Ministerial Commendations at 43rd Teachers' Day

Most Awards Among All Universities Nationwide for Three Consecutive Years

Thirteen professors from Pukyong National University (President: Jang Youngsoo) received government awards at the 43rd annual Teacher's Day this year.

Professor Oh Junghwan (Department of Biomedical Engineering) was awarded the Presidential Citation for his contributions to the development of education, while twelve other professors received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Education Citation for their guidance of students and achievements in research and academic activities.

The recipients of the Ministerial Citation are: Lee Seongbong (Department of Political Science and Diplomacy), Shin Junyong (Department of Applied Mathematics), Yoon Min (Department of Applied Mathematics), Na Heeryang (Division of International Commerce), Noh Euicheol (Department of Electrical Engineering), Lee Sangho (Department of Civil Engineering), Jeong Taeyoung (Department of Marine and Fisheries Industry Education), Lee Incheol (Department of Ocean Engineering), Yang Minjun (Department of Environmental Geoscience), Kim Changsoo (Department of Computer and Artificial Intelligence Engineering), Kang Hyunwook (Department of Biomedical Engineering), and Cheon Dongpil (Department of Technology Management).

Pukyong National University held an award ceremony in the meeting room on the second floor of the university headquarters on the 20th, presenting the certificates to the recipients.

Since 2022, Pukyong National University has been recognized for its excellence in education and research, producing the highest number of government award recipients on Teacher's Day among universities nationwide for three consecutive years.
