Busanjinyeo Girls' Commercial High and Others in Commerce, Information, and Tourism Participate
Competing in 15 Events... Also Serving as Busan Representative Selection
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Ha Yoonsoo) will hold the "2024 Busan Commercial Skills Competition" on the 23rd, with 614 students from 16 specialized high schools in the fields of commerce, information, and tourism participating at three competition venues.
This competition will take place at three locations: the 1st venue at Busanjin Girls' Commercial High School, the 2nd venue at Busan Girls' Commercial High School, and the 3rd venue at Haeundae Tourism High School.
The Office of Education is organizing this competition to discover and nurture students with talents related to their majors at specialized high schools in the fields of commerce, information, and tourism.
Participating students will compete in a total of 15 categories, including 11 skill events such as accounting practice, entrepreneurship practice, office administration, e-commerce practice, business English, and 4 competition events such as the entrepreneurship club expo and club contest.
Students who win gold, silver, or bronze medals in this competition will represent Busan at the 14th National Commercial Skills Competition to be held in Jeju this October.
Hwang Jiyeong, Director of the Digital Future Education Division at the Office of Education, said, "The Office of Education will operate the competition strictly and fairly so that students can further develop the specialized knowledge they have learned at school through this event," and added, "I hope this competition will serve as a foundation for participating students to grow into outstanding professionals in their fields of study."
