"Fourth 6,000-Unit Sales Champion" Jeong Tae-sam, Kia Sales Director

Working at Jeonbuk Branch... Selling About 190 Vehicles Annually on Average

A fourth salesperson at Kia has surpassed cumulative sales of 6,000 units.

Kia announced on the 22nd that Sales Director Jeong Tae-sam of the Jeonbuk Jeonju branch has exceeded cumulative sales of 6,000 units. Director Jeong surpassed 5,000 cumulative sales in 2022, earning the title of 'Great Master,' and added another 1,000 units sold within two years. He is the fourth person in Kia's history to break through 6,000 sales.

Director Jeong joined the company in 1992 and has sold a total of 6,005 vehicles over 33 years up to this month. This means he maintained an average annual sales performance of about 190 units until last year. Notably, he is the second person to surpass 6,000 sales outside the metropolitan area.

In the past 10 years, Director Jeong has been listed nine times among the top 10 Kia salespeople. Last year, he achieved first place in sales for the first time. He said, "I am grateful to the customers who have shown unwavering interest and direct support until reaching 6,000 sales," adding, "I have always tried to do my best rather than just being the best to win customers' hearts, which led to this great result."

Meanwhile, Kia operates various reward systems such as the Long-term Sales Honor Award and Kia Star Awards to encourage sales staff who do their best in the field and promote healthy sales competition. According to these systems, titles such as Star (cumulative sales of 2,000 units), Master (cumulative sales of 3,000 units), Grand Master (cumulative sales of 4,000 units), and Great Master (cumulative sales of 5,000 units) are awarded.
