With the addition of Kakao Games and Kakao VX, the Crew Union now holds collective bargaining rights for 11 corporations within the Kakao community and plans to proceed with negotiations in the future.

The Kakao Games branch stated, "We will represent the voices of Kakao Games employees and strive to ensure fair and transparent company operations until the end," adding, "We will work with the company to create a better workplace and protect workers' rights."

The Kakao union plans to request the company to address demands through collective agreements, including ▲employment stability ▲introduction of flexible work systems ▲abolition of the comprehensive wage system ▲disclosure of evaluation criteria.

Kakao VX has experienced ongoing employment instability, including a voluntary retirement program offered to all employees last year. Namgi Lee, a Kakao VX negotiation committee member, explained the negotiation goals: "Through collective agreements, we will correct the unilateral changes in the working environment that have taken place so far, and at the same time, we will do our best to improve and protect workers' rights, including employment stability, prevention of workplace harassment, abolition of the comprehensive wage system, and disclosure of performance evaluation criteria."

Seungwook Seo, branch chief, said, "The Kakao union has been working to improve the universal labor rights of Kakao affiliated corporations, and the number of union members continues to grow," adding, "Going forward, we will continuously demand improvements so that Kakao can fulfill the social responsibilities required, along with improving the working environment."
