Dong-gu has been conducting comprehensive welfare education for new basic livelihood security recipients every two months in the situation room on the 3rd floor of the government building, and the program was held for about 40 new recipients in March and April.

The main education topics include basic livelihood security, medical benefits, emergency welfare systems, and guidance on welfare facilities and project status by sector. Especially this month, a meeting was held between the Dong-gu Mental Health Promotion Center and the Dong-gu Community Self-Support Center to promote case management for frequent hospital outpatient users and home medical benefit projects.

Im Taek, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, "We operated the welfare school to ensure that new basic livelihood security recipients can receive various welfare benefits without exclusion," adding, "We hope this will serve as an opportunity for interactive communication, allowing welfare officers and new recipients to have time to communicate."
