The Korea Exchange announced on the 21st that it held the 5th Corporate Value-Up Advisory Group meeting.
At this meeting, additional discussions were held on the corporate value enhancement plan guidelines and explanatory notes (draft) disclosed at the 2nd Corporate Value-Up Support Measures Seminar held on the 2nd.
The advisory group reviewed opinions gathered through meetings with disclosure officers and board members of listed companies. They also exchanged final opinions on major inquiries raised during the market participants' feedback process and on drafting examples for practitioners at listed companies.
Furthermore, they reviewed the establishment of an integrated corporate value-up webpage, consulting and disclosure translation support for small and medium-sized listed companies, and educational programs for board members and disclosure officers.
An exchange official stated, "We plan to finalize and announce the corporate value enhancement plan guidelines in May, and provide explanatory notes, FAQs, and drafting examples." He added, "Starting from the 28th, we will strengthen guidance to investors and companies through regional outreach briefings and disclosure training, beginning in Busan, and encourage active participation from listed companies."
