CJ OliveNetworks Wins Contract to Build MBC Next-Generation Production NPS

CJ OliveNetworks announced on the 21st that it has won the contract for MBC's next-generation production NPS (Network Production System) construction project.

MBC initiated this next-generation production NPS construction project to improve the production environment and secure competitiveness by implementing an efficient content production workflow due to the increase in UHD content. MBC expects to achieve a stable content production environment and flexible scalability through high-performance infrastructure.

CJ OliveNetworks has been carrying out system integration (SI) projects in the broadcasting media sector, including KBS UHD NPS construction and infrastructure advancement, and the National Assembly Broadcasting UHD broadcasting system.

In particular, over the past five years, it has accumulated know-how and capabilities by executing a total of 250 internal and external broadcasting media SI and infrastructure construction projects. The award of the MBC next-generation production NPS construction project is said to be the result of high evaluations based on the trust and infrastructure selection level from the successful cases of previous projects.

The MBC next-generation production NPS construction project, scheduled to proceed until June next year, will promote ▲ application of systems with new technologies ▲ construction of high-performance and high-efficiency infrastructure such as storage, servers, and terminals ▲ network advancement and introduction of security functions ▲ implementation of an integrated control room.
