Jongno-gu to Recruit 159 Participants for Second Half Companion Jobs Until the 24th

Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) is recruiting participants for the "2024 Second Half Jongno-gu Donghaeng Job Project" until the 24th.


A total of 159 people will be selected, divided into 133 for the Seoul-type Donghaeng Job Project based on mutual aid where the vulnerable help other vulnerable people, and 26 for the Jongno-type Safe Job Project recruited to ensure smooth district administration.


The Seoul-type Donghaeng Job Project includes services such as the "Digital Assistance Service for Visiting Civil Petitioners," which supports the use of smart civil petition systems and unmanned civil petition issuance machines, and the "Jongno Crisis Household Care Team," which identifies residents in crisis situations and provides regular check-ins and welfare service connections. The Jongno-type Safe Job Project includes tasks such as "assisting with small business support-related work" and "maintenance of traditional market restrooms."


Applicants must be workers aged 18 or older, with household income at or below 80% of the median income standard and household assets of 499 million KRW or less. However, participation by two people from one household or those who have participated more than twice within two years are excluded.


To apply, download the required document forms from the district office website, fill them out, and submit them in person with an ID card to the local community service center by the 24th. Application forms are also available at the community service centers, and results will be notified on the 24th of next month.


Selected participants will work five days a week from July 1 to December 20. Wages are set at 10,000 KRW per hour, with a daily snack allowance of 6,000 KRW, and weekly and monthly leave allowances are provided.
