'Dog President' Kang Hyung-wook's Workplace 'Gapjil Controversy' Leads to KBS 'Gaehullyung' Cancellation

A KBS official stated on the 20th, "Considering the controversy surrounding trainer Kang Hyung-wook, we have decided to cancel the broadcast of KBS 2TV's 'Dogs Are Incredible (Gaehulryung)' today and replace it with other programs."

At the usual airtime of 'Gaehulryung' at 8:55 PM, reruns of 'Walking into the World' and 'Paldo Bapsang' were aired. KBS has not yet decided whether to continue airing 'Gaehulryung' or to cancel it next week as well.

Recently, several reviews claiming that they experienced workplace gapjil at Bodeum Company, where Kang serves as CEO, have been posted on a job platform, causing controversy. Some wrote that they are receiving psychiatric treatment for panic disorder, anxiety disorder, and depression. They also claim that Kang monitored employees' messenger chats and frequently instructed them to perform non-work-related tasks, causing harassment.
