Chungnam Province has signed an agreement to expand exchanges with Guizhou Province, China.
On the 20th, Chungnam Technopark and the Chungnam Tourism Association signed an agreement at the Chungnam Provincial Government Office with the Gui'an New Area Administrative Committee of Guizhou Province and the Guizhou City Tourism Association to expand exchanges in the fields of economy, industry, and tourism.
According to the agreement, both parties will strengthen exchanges regarding resident companies in industrial complexes, market demand, and investment policies. They also agreed to mutually participate in large-scale events hosted in both regions.
The province has maintained a friendly cooperation agreement and sisterhood relationship with Guizhou Province since 2014, engaging in exchanges across various fields.
Jeon Hyung-sik, Deputy Governor for Political Affairs, said, "The exchange and cooperation relationship between the two organizations, which began with the signing of the friendship agreement, has grown remarkably over the past 10 years," adding, "We hope to strengthen cooperation on high-level mutual exchanges and common challenges such as aging."
