On the 23rd, Jangseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 20th that it will hold the 21st Century Jangseong Academy by inviting Kim Ik-han, the first domestic archivist and honorary professor at the Graduate School of Records and Information Science, Myongji University, at the Jangseong Culture and Arts Center Small Theater.

Professor Kim, who graduated from the Department of Korean History at Seoul National University and obtained his master's and doctoral degrees in history from the University of Tokyo Graduate School, is the scholar who first introduced archival science to Korea and is the architect of the national records management system framework.
He currently serves as the CEO of "Ganeungseongdeul Co., Ltd." and operates the YouTube channel "Professor Kim's Three Things," which has 340,000 subscribers, as well as the educational program "I Can YouTube University."
His representative works include "The Giant's Notebook" and "Possible," with "The Giant's Notebook" selling over 20,000 copies and becoming a bestseller in the self-development category.
At the academy on this day, Professor Kim is expected to teach the audience record-keeping methods that can bring about significant changes with minimal effort and time investment. He will also share his usual beliefs on what to observe and how to record in life.
The 21st Century Jangseong Academy, which holds the world’s longest-running record, is held every first and third Thursday of the month.
In May only, it will be held on the first and fourth Thursdays, with a wonderful performance by the winner of the Hidden Singer Season 1 King of Kings as a pre-show.
Anyone can enter without prior registration, and real-time attendance is also possible through the Jangseong-gun YouTube channel once the lecture begins.
Lecture videos, for which data sharing has been agreed upon, can be rewatched on the Jangseong-gun official website and YouTube.
