Coupang Fulfillment Service has established a foundation to continuously manage the entire process, including waste separation and recycling for resource circulation, as well as waste generation, treatment, and energy conversion rates. They can receive optimal treatment plans (incineration, recycling, etc.) and appropriate treatment facilities tailored to the characteristics of waste generated at business sites. Incineration and other treatment facilities owned nationwide by SK ecoplant will be utilized, and collaboration with verified local waste treatment companies is also planned.
This service also supports tasks from vendor review to payment settlement. It enables integrated management of waste-related information from multiple business sites dispersed nationwide. Data such as waste emission volume, emission frequency, treatment status, and recycling rate can be checked on the dashboard.
Park Kyung-il, President of SK ecoplant, said, “The launch of this integrated management service is significant as it goes beyond supporting the efficiency of waste treatment to laying the groundwork for substantially enhancing corporate resource circulation.” He added, “Based on the WAYBLE service, SK ecoplant will advance its platform business in the resource circulation sector and contribute to achieving a circular economy.”
