Improving Work Efficiency for Construction Company and Partner Employees
Simplifying Document Tasks Including Construction Video Record Management
Hanwha Construction Division announced on the 20th that it has developed a smart construction management system (Hi-Note) to improve work efficiency at construction sites and will apply it to actual sites starting this month.
Hanwha Construction Division is using the 'Smart Construction Management System (Hi-Note)' at the construction site.
The smart construction management system (Hi-Note, Hanwha intelligent-Note) consists of quality and progress management, construction video record management, and a technical data bulletin board, which are essential for construction site management. Hanwha Construction Division plans to significantly simplify existing paperwork using Hi-Note to enhance work efficiency.
Hi-Note’s quality and progress management feature allows real-time photo capturing to communicate construction correction items to subcontractor staff, recording and managing whether actions have been taken, and checking and managing construction progress via mobile devices.
Typical construction progress management involved repetitive paperwork, causing high work fatigue and errors in data entry. By using Hi-Note, related tasks can be handled via smartphones, and data is automatically accumulated for convenient access anytime.
The construction video record management function allows users to input work details and record videos, which are then automatically edited, categorized, and saved based on the input. It facilitates convenient management of records by importance and construction type and can be used as auxiliary verification materials to check whether construction matches the drawings in the future.
The technical data bulletin board enables users to check manuals and technical data needed during construction from anywhere on site using a smartphone. It also allows exchanging technical information through Q&A and suggestions.
In July last year, the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Seoul Metropolitan Government announced guidelines to strengthen construction site management, including digitalization of construction verification data and video recording. Hanwha Construction Division recognized the necessity of a smart construction management system including the construction video record management function and has been developing Hi-Note accordingly.
Park Se-young, Head of the Architecture Business Division at Hanwha Construction Division, said, “Through Hi-Note, we expect to reduce the paperwork fatigue of site workers, improve work efficiency, and enhance construction quality.”
